Summer is just around the corner, and we all have our hearts set on warm weather and sunny beaches. The swimsuit hunt has begun and it's time to check out the Spring 2011 runways for some stylish inspiration
Sexy cut outs weren't left to sassy cocktail dresses and sultry evening gowns this season, swimwear has also slashed out in a major way.
This macrame trend has us in knots! Emilio Pucci made this unique textile technique ultra sexy with a revealing black one-piece suit, as well as a more playful paisley print beaded bikini. Elie Tahari jumped on the trend with a modest yet captivating strapless suit with an overlay of rich macrame inspired texture.
This is the season of the girly girl! Ditsy flower prints, ruffles and modest retro silhouettes have hit swimwear in a hard way.
The 80's are back in full force, and with them comes graphic prints! Suno's high-waisted bikini was a definite stand-out for Spring 2011 swimwear with it's African inspired print.
Salvatore styled a classic nude bikini with a suede overcoat for his subtle but chic look.
vibrant and neon colors are hitting the beach this year! Yigal Azrouël combined a sunshine yellow with a chic minimalist design on the Spring '11 catwalk.
From bell bottoms to lime green hues and peasant tops, 70's fashion has been in full swing this season. Swimsuit trends didn't miss a beat with a multitude of vibrant halter one-piece suits.
